Who is Raymond Murphy?
Ray is an experienced New Jersey personal injury lawyer who treats each client with personal attention, compassion and respect while providing legal expertise. Ray has over 35+ years experience and has been involved in more than 100 trials. His focus is to achieve the best results for his clients. He has tried jury trials in almost all fields of civil law including personal injury, medical malpractice and business litigation. He has tried cases in New Jersey and New York and in the Southern District and Eastern District Federal Court in New York. Over his distinguished career Ray has earned numerous million and multi-million dollar awards for his clients.
Ray is Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney, a designation held by less than 2% of attorneys in New Jersey. As a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, Ray demonstrates a substantial level of expertise in civil trial law. Raymond Murphy received his undergraduate degree with honors in a three year accelerated program from Rutgers University in business and economics and he was elected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. He achieved in the top 3% nationally in the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and attended Rutgers University Law School.
Ray Murphy graduated from Rutgers University Law School as one of the youngest graduates at the age of 23 and was an associate editor for the prestigious “Computer & Technology” Law Journal, an internationally published journal that focuses on legal issues involving technology.
He has also studied at the University of London focusing on international law and the British court system.
Outside the Courtroom, he is a passionate soccer fan and player and enjoys participating as a volunteer with community rebuilding projects.
